Sale High School : Cooking up a storm at Good Food Show
Cooking up a storm at Good Food Show

Last November, Year 10 and 11 students had a brilliant day out at the Good Food Show in Birmingham.

Students on the Food Technology GCSE option had a fantastic day out, watching celebrity chefs at work, tasting speciality foods and buying books and gifts from the huge range of stalls. Jade Corker was delighted with her signed copy of Jamie Oliver’s latest book and loved his live show in the celebrity theatre.

The highlight of the day for teacher Mrs Chung-Anderson was meeting the winner of 2009’s Masterchef competition, but for some of the students, it was sampling all the different foods on offer around the show.

Mrs Chung-Anderson said: “It was a delight to take the students out as they were a credit to the school. We’d all like to thank the Friends of Sale High School for their support of the trip, and the staff who helped us organise it.”
