Sale High School’s Head Boy and Girl for 2008-9 were amongst the high achievers on results day, 27^th August 2009. Scott Leather received 1 A*, 4 A, 3 B and 2 C grades, and Akilah McLaren-Parker achieved 4 A* grades, 3 A grades, with 4 Bs and 2 Cs.

Ryan Witter and Yuan Gu also achieved excellent points scores for the school, with Ryan gaining 3 A* grades and 5 As and Yuan 4 A* grades and 3 As.

The results overall included some excellent achievements. 100% of students passed in Art, Expressive Arts, Health & Social Care and PE. 97.6% of students passed in IT and nearly 80% passed their French GCSE. 74.1% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades, our best ever results.
