Summer Camp at Sale High School offers Year 5 and 6 pupils the chance to try some new, fun and exciting activities - boxercise, cricket, rugby, badminton, football and invasion games are amongst the opportunities on offer.

Children will develop skills, knowledge and understanding within a supported environment. The camp will be run and supervised by a team of Sale High School teachers who are all CRB checked and will provide an excellent opportunity for children to become familiar with the school, some of the staff and the secondary curriculum. 

There will be two identical one week courses running:  
Week 1: Monday 26^th July – Friday 30^th July (10am - 2.00 pm)
Week 2: Monday 2^nd August – Friday 6^th August (10am - 2.00 pm) 

Each of these weeks will include an opportunity for parents to get involved with their child in special activities, sharing in their new experiences. On the Monday of each week, the first hour will include a parent/child treasure hunt/orienteering session and on the Friday afternoon, 1.00 – 2.00pm, parents are invited to join the fun.

Pupils will need a full PE kit including trainers, football boots, shin pads, shorts / tracksuit bottoms and t-shirt / training top. Depending on the weather please ensure your child has a sun hat/cap and sun protection. Pupils’ belongings will be locked away during activities but please avoid bringing valuable/sentimental items. They will also need a packed lunch and refreshments, but water will be available throughout the sessions. 

If your child is in receipt of free school meals we may be able to offer a reduction in the fee. Please contact the school for further information.

Remember commercially-run summer camps and coaching can be quite expensive but we are offering places for £20 for a whole week, or you can book daily for £5 (priority will be given to weekly bookings). There are limited places available so we will operate a first come first served basis.
