The GCSE Maths curriculum is modular, with students taking elements of the GCSE throughout Years 10 and 11. This enables them to build up their knowledge and skills and apply them to the exam tasks. After-school and holiday revision clubs are offered to help students prepare for the exams.
At Key Stage 3, students are given a thorough grounding in all the skills of maths, building up towards the GCSE requirements.
The Department is currently benefiting from consultancy support from Trafford’s Lead Adviser in Maths.
